For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Prosperity is not of the devil; it's the will of God for you. The God Promises Prosperity Bible scriptures located in Deuteronomy 30:1-10 explains directly from God's Word the God Promises Prosperity topic. This topic to be properly covered in one blog comment, but I simply wanted to share my journey - one from where I had a unhealthy and unscriptural view against prosperity to one which is hopefully now in line with the heart, mind, and will of God. In this episode of “The Cross & the Jukebox,” Shai and I talk about the prosperity gospel, why it's dangerous, and why it shows up in so many places, including in America's theological export to the African continent. Deuteronomy 30:3, That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. Question: How do we gain true prosperity that God speaks of: Psalm1:2-3. And 31% agree that if you give your money to God, God will bless you with more money. So prosperity covers all things that one can do or touch, will get a better idea of this soon. If you choose one of these the others will fail. Prosperity simply means, 'Having enough to do the will of God.' And that's how much God wants you to have, no more and no less. There is a form of prosperity in the World. You can create money, a great family, or a healthy life in your own strength. Scripture clearly establishes how intensely God desires to display His goodness and His love toward man by pouring out His prosperity and abundance. God is the one that gives the power to get wealth, so He couldn't possibly be against being rich and prosperous. From a Christian perspective, daily Bible study and prayer is key to our prosperity. The Bible tells us that God has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
